Friends,

I’m fed up with our nation’s failed leadership. We are seeing militarized federal agents use weapons of war, including sonic weapons and tear gas against Americans in Portland. They are literally kidnapping innocent people and getting away with it. This is unacceptable in every way.

And where is Louie Gohmert when federal agents trample the constitution and violate civil liberties? Proposing a ban on the Democratic party.

When Barack Obama was President, Louie and other Republicans yelled and screamed about “states rights” when it came to issues as fundamental as healthcare. Now, we have federal law enforcement essentially occupying American cities, and Louie Gohmert has nothing to say.

The only way to send a message to people like Louie Gohmert is for us to take to the streets and protest these actions.

That’s why I am planning a Protest Portland protest on the square in downtown Tyler on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., with a separate protest to follow at 6 p.m. in Nacogdoches.

We need to stand up and fight back. I urge everyone and anyone across the country to join us >>>

We need a leader who will protect our civil rights and defend our democracy. Join us this weekend to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear.
