The first major election of the year isn’t getting enough attention from the media or Democrats.

On April 7th of this year, MAGA is desperately hoping to win a rubber match in the upcoming Wisconsin state Supreme Court race.

This is a must-win for MAGA. After last year’s massive win for Democrats, they now hold a 4-3 majority on the WI court. With a seat up for grabs this year, Democrats now have a chance to expand their majority to 5-2.

And more importantly, a win this April would lock down the court for Democrats until at least 2030, securing a key swing state court for the rest of Trump’s presidency.

In 2025, Trump and MAGA attempted coups at the state level in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. If they had seized control of those state Supreme Courts, they would have gained control over the body that has final say on election laws/results, allowing them to rig elections in these crucial states in their favor in 2026 and 2028.

The stakes in the PA Supreme Court race were existential for Democrats’ 2028 hopes. But we rallied and won a decisive victory. We need the same energy in the upcoming WI race.

In PA, Defend Our Courts helped lead the defense of the liberal majority on the court. Despite millions of dollars spent by MAGA to try and take the court, Pennsylvanians turned out in record numbers and handed Democrats a 30+ point blowout victory.

In Philadelphia, where we concentrated much of our voter outreach along with digital and TV ads, turnout surged by 34%. That was the largest increase in the state.

We defended the PA court and kept the Democrats' 2028 chances alive. Now we’re going on the offensive in Wisconsin to secure Dems' path back to the White House. 

But we’re seriously concerned this race could fly under the radar and MAGA could catch Dems completely off guard. We have to get started now. We emptied our warchest in PA and now we only have 4 months to prepare for WI. We must win this race to secure Dems' path back to the White House. So we’re rallying Democrats again:
