How women can speak up and be heard in 2026

Dear Supporter,

This month, we are gathering women who refuse to be silenced.

On Tuesday 20 January, 1–2 pm (online) ([link removed]) , join Kajal Odedra, author, activist and Vice President at Change.org, in conversation with Penny East, Chief Executive of Fawcett, for a powerful discussion on how women can get heard in today’s noisy and divided world.

Kajal has led campaigns that changed laws and lives, from ending the tampon tax to fighting for Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe’s freedom. Penny will bring her insight from years of working to ensure women’s voices are at the heart of change across politics, workplaces and public life.

Together, they will explore what really works when speaking truth to power and how women can campaign effectively even in difficult times.

This is a practical and energising session. It’s one hour to sharpen your voice, strengthen your message and step forward with clarity and confidence.
