I don’t need to bore you with a lecture about the ethics of Trump’s illegal invasion of Venezuela.

I don’t need to bore you with a bunch of stats about how Big Oil is a dying industry that uses our tax dollars as life support.

I don’t need to explain that the Klepto-in-Chief is dragging us into a 19th-century colonial war so he can impress the head honchos at Exxon-Mobil. (Very “America First,” btw.)

Look, we could spend weeks, months, years speculating about how stupid and costly this decision will be for us and for the Venezuelan people.

That said, Donald Trump doing stupid and illegal things is nothing new. We’re not teaching an old dog new tricks. Let’s instead direct our energy at defeating his applauding minions in Congress.

Countering this administration means electing a WIDE majority to stand up for the American people. It means every district and every dollar counts. If you can, chip in $25 to gas up my reelection fund and capitalize on our momentum here in Illinois and across the country.
