Join Women’s March on TUESDAY, January 20, for the “Free America Walkout,” calling on people across the country to walk out of work, school, and commerce to send a message that we are walking away from fascism. One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent.

In solidarity with this day of action, 50501 Movement, Citizens’ Impeachment, Free Speech For People, the Removal Coalition, and Women’s March are encouraging people participating in the “Free America Walkout” to walk in to lobby their congressional offices in their districts, demanding that members of Congress advance articles of impeachment against Trump and senior Trump officials for multiple abuses of power.

In the time since his second inauguration, Trump has carried out an assault on the rule of law, on the checks and balances of power between our coequal branches of government, and on the United States Constitution. He is committing multiple abuses of power in violation of clear constitutional commands and at the expense of our democratic institutions, constitutional precedent, and the health and safety of all of our people, especially the most marginalized. It is the constitutional responsibility of Congress to take action by impeaching and removing Trump from office.
