As we step into a new year, we want to begin by honoring you—your strength, your courage, and your commitment to healing and justice. The work you do every day, whether by sharing your story, supporting another survivor, or advocating for change in your community, is what makes Crime Survivors Speak a powerful and growing movement.
January is a time for reflection and renewal. It is a moment to breathe, reset, and reconnect with our purpose. In 2026, we are deepening our commitment to building survivor leadership, advancing policies that center healing, and ensuring that no survivor has to navigate harm or recovery alone. Together, we will continue to fight for access to resources, dignity, and real safety in our communities.
This year will bring new opportunities to organize, learn, heal, and lead—locally and nationally. We are excited to walk into this next chapter with you and grateful for all that you bring to this community.Thank you for being here. Thank you for your voice. Thank you for your leadership.

Save the Date: National Crime Victims Rights Week
We’re excited to invite you to join us for the kickoff of the Field-Generated National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) 2026 observance — a space rooted in survivor leadership, community wisdom, and collective action. This year’s NCVRW theme centers on CommUNITY — uplifting survivor-centered, community-driven innovation and setting the tone for a connected and collaborative year ahead.
This kickoff conversation will highlight how survivors, advocates, and partners across the country are shaping the future of victims’ rights and support from the ground up.
