I’m running because I know I’m prepared to do this work, and more importantly, prepared to deliver for the people of Shelby County. I’ve spent years working alongside families, educators, and community leaders to understand what’s broken and what it will take to fix it.
As a father, I don’t just talk about children’s issues, I live with them every day.
I understand firsthand how critical access to quality Pre-K, strong public schools, and family resources are to a child’s future. These aren’t abstract policy debates for me, they’re real-life responsibilities.
I’ve done the work of listening. I’ve built relationships. And I’ve put forward real solutions to expand early childhood education, strengthen support for working families, and make sure no child is left behind simply because of where they were born or how much their parents earn.
Shelby County deserves leadership that is prepared, compassionate, and ready to act, not someone learning as they go.
If you believe, like I do, that our community deserves a leader who is ready to fight for our children and families from day one, I ask you to stand with me today.
Chip in whatever you can today to help us support the children of Shelby County today.
