Herbert,
Last week, House Democrats did what extreme Republicans tried to block for months: we forced a vote to stop millions of Americans’ health care costs from doubling — even tripling. It passed.
Now, the fight moves to the Senate, where Republicans are dragging their feet on legislation supported by three out of four Americans — because President Trump is threatening a veto.
Instead of lowering costs, Trump is trying to distract the country with reckless international stunts and manufactured crises, all while his economic agenda squeezes families at home. Last year marked the worst job creation outside a recession in two decades — and working people are paying the price.
I’m staying focused on what matters: lowering costs, protecting health care, and holding Republicans accountable for standing with Trump over the American people.
But to keep the pressure on — and to force Senate Republicans to finally do the right thing — I need your help. Will you chip in today to help us keep up the drumbeat? Even a small contribution makes a real difference in this fight.

Gratefully,
