** John,
------------------------------------------------------------
Last week, after months of public pressure–the U.S. House passed legislation to reinstate the Affordable Care Act’s premium tax credits—the very subsidies that made health insurance affordable for millions of working families, seniors, and small business owners.
When those credits expired at the end of 2025, costs doubled or tripled overnight for people who were already stretched thin. Republicans let that happen.
But organizers stepped up. Holding town halls, calling district offices, and making sure my Republican colleagues knew it is unacceptable to make working families choose between seeing a doctor or paying rent.
That’s why last week, 17 vulnerable Republicans joined the House Democrats and said enough.

This vote is about one simple principle: health care should not be a luxury. It should be affordable, accessible, and protected.
I’ve been clear about this from day one: we don’t lower costs by stripping coverage or playing games with people’s lives. We lower costs by expanding access, protecting the ACA, and standing up to the extremists who are perfectly fine watching families suffer if it scores them political points.
Your advocacy is working but now the pressure must shift to the Senate.
Senate Republicans can choose to do the right thing, or they can once again side with their wealthy donors over working families.
Either way, this fight isn’t over. And I’m not backing down until everyone has the healthcare they deserve.
Health care affordability isn’t a talking point. It’s a lifeline. If you agree, chip in today to help fuel our fight for affordable healthcare. ([link removed])
With gratitude,
Team Delia
