I am reaching out today with a major announcement. I am officially launching my campaign for re-election to Congress.
Serving the people of Virginia’s 10th District is the honor of a lifetime. Since being sworn in last January, our team has not wasted a moment. We have resolved over 2,000 constituent cases, held a town hall in every single county, and secured over $15 million for local community projects.
But as a first-term Member of Congress in a key swing district, I know the target on our back is only getting larger.
That is why I am so proud to share that Senator Mark Warner, Senator Tim Kaine, and former Representative Jennifer Wexton have already stepped up to endorse our re-election.
It is an honor to have Senator Warner celebrate our work on the Oversight Committee to hold the powerful accountable. I am equally grateful to have the support of Jennifer Wexton. She paved the way for progress in this district, and she is standing with us because she has seen firsthand how we deliver for our neighbors every single day.
We cannot take this seat for granted. Our Republican opponents see our slim margin as an opportunity and are already organizing to flip this district. They will spend millions to drown out our message, and we must be ready to fight back.
