Ensuring access to high-quality, affordable health care is essential for people in Northwest Washington and across the country. I am fighting for you every day to ensure you have access to affordable health care.

On December 31st of 2025, Republicans let expire health care tax credits that were helping people I represent in Northwest Washington. These health care tax credits helped people purchase affordable health care.

Because Republicans let those health care tax credits expire, health care prices are artificially inflated for thousands of people in Northwest Washington and millions of people across the country.

Last week, the House passed a three-year extension of the health care tax credits to help lower health care premiums for millions of Americans.

Our fight for health care is not over yet.

Now, I call upon the Senate to take up the three-year health care credit extension. The Senate must take up this extension so we can deliver lower prices for Americans on their health care.
