In the aftermath of last week’s strikes on Venezuela and kidnapping of Nicolas Maduro I gave the NH Journal, a conservative publication in New Hampshire, a quote on where I stood. I told them exactly what I’ve been telling my supporters since the morning after the strikes: that the attacks were unjustified, not supported by the law, and driven by greed for oil.
It is important that liberals and conservatives alike hear and understand this. If we don’t tell them who else will?
In response, I received backlash – some in the Democratic Party establishment don’t want us to engage outside of our tent. Here is what I said in response.
