Look, I’ll always be transparent with you.

This is an internal deadline. It’s one my team and I set to make sure we’re on track to meet our monthly expenses and prepare our campaign for what could be a tough and expensive fight this year.

So, candidly, if we miss this deadline, we will be okay. Our fight will continue on as planned.

But the reality is, it will make it harder to stay on track for February, and then in March, when we close the books on the quarter and file our next public fundraising report. And, if this pattern continues, we will need to look at our budget and decide where to scale back on our planned investments.
