John,

When America goes to war, the Central Valley goes to war.

Right now, President Trump is carrying out unilateral military action in Venezuela -- without approval from Congress, and without the consent of the American people.

Nobody from the Valley wants this. Our service members are being put in harm’s way for another expensive unauthorized war -- while families here are struggling to afford health care, housing, and groceries.

Our troops should never be forced to risk their lives for an illegal war nobody asked for. And our taxpayer dollars shouldn’t be wasted on weapons overseas when our own communities are being left behind.

I’m asking you to join me in telling Congress to stand up for the Constitution and keep our troops out of unauthorized wars. Sign the petition and tell Washington: The people say no to war. [[link removed]]

Our servicemembers and veterans deserve dignity, respect, and leaders who will protect them - and not send them into harm’s way without accountability.

We the people do not want war.

Randy
