Hi, John! It's January 12, and more has happened in these twelve days than we thought possible. 🤯 Trump kidnapped a world leader, ICE murdered an American citizen, and healthcare subsidies may have a chance.

No matter what’s happening in Washington, DC, Oklahoma Democrats remain focused on building a better Oklahoma.

There are now 1️⃣0️⃣2️⃣ Democratic candidates slated for the November ballot. Over the last week, two more candidates officially launched their campaigns for the state legislature. Chris Odneal of Shawnee is running for House District 26 and Amy Hossain of Owasso kicked off her race for Senate District 34.

In 2025, OK Dems committed to relational organizing like never before. Between volunteers and candidates, we knocked over 230,000 doors across the state - that's up 60,000 knocks from 2023!

We know that personal contact changes minds and builds momentum. This weekend, I joined Air Force veteran Chris Fowler, candidate for State House District 91, for his Day of Action. Chris is the leading door knocker in the state with 6,000 homes that he's personally visited! 

Edmond Democratic Women made door knocking part of their strategy to turn Edmond blue. They've built a fierce door knocking team and are helping register new Democrats in targeted districts so that we can build a fairer Oklahoma.

Signature gathering for State Question 836 is heating up. Organizers must collect 172,000 signatures by January 26th. Though we haven't taken an official position as a party, we support Oklahomans having more opportunities to vote. Click here if you'd like to find a signature location near you!
