For just a few more days, CYD is extending our cheapest Early Registration price of $40 for CYD’s 2026 Endorsing Convention in San Francisco, February 20-22, 2026. Register now ([link removed]) before the end of this Wednesday, January 14th to save at least $15. After Wednesday, prices will increase to the regular rate of $55 for registration. CYD’s Convention is in conjunction with the CA Democratic Party (CADEM) Convention ([link removed]) at Moscone Center West. We are finalizing details and will be sharing later this week, but there is a Friday Welcome Reception hosted by the San Francisco Young Democrats at the historic Hibernia Bank Building, CYD Committee & Caucus meetings, a Using Social Media for Activism Panel featuring three powerful women influencers, general session meetings for CYD, CA College Democrats (CCD), CA High School Democrats (CAHSD), and CADEM packed with guest speakers in advance of the 2026 elections, and lots of fun events and hospitality suites. 2026 CHAPTER CHARTERING - DUE FEBRUARY 9, 2026https://www.cayoungdems.net/charteringAll Young Democrats chapter and caucus leaders in California must charter or re-charter their club/caucus to be properly chartered with the California Young Democrats and be eligible to vote in CYD elections and meetings. All CYD chapters are required to recharter for 2026. CYD has extended the deadline for 2026 Chartering to February 9, 2026, but that is fast approaching and many chapters have yet to submit the necessary chartering information. All chartering details are available on CYD’s website here ([link removed]) .

The good news? With recent bylaw amendments, CYD has waived all chartering fees for chapters so you no longer need to pay to be chartered.

Please get your chapter or caucus chartered ([link removed]) ASAP, and I hope to see you at the upcoming Convention ([link removed]) in San Francisco!
