John,

When little Ron DeSantis ran for president, it was revealed that he put lifts in his shoe heels to add an extra 3 or more inches to his height.

That pathetic ploy didn’t help him. He still failed—and was humiliated repeatedly by the man he now answers to: Donald Trump.

But now that Runty Ron’s boss has ordered him to find him extra GOP seats in Florida to help MAGA survive the coming midterm storm, DeSantis is trying to give Republicans an artificial boost with the same old trick he pulled in the 2024 campaign: putting lifts in MAGA’s shoe heels by forcing the Florida legislature to add 3-5 more red seats before April.

DeSantis’ “Floriduh” gerrymander could make or break this entire fight for the House before any votes are cast in November.

That’s why our ballot initiative campaign to allow blue state Colorado conduct redistricting is so important right now, John

We can’t sit back and hope that DeSantis’ Florida gambit backfires—we need to get to work making sure blue states follow suit and fight MAGA head-on.

Colorado Draws The Line is leading the ballot measure to redistrict blue Colorado. Our effort could flip 2 or even 3 GOP-held seats, virtually wiping out any advantage Trump may get from Florida’s gerrymander.

This is the fight that will define the 2026 midterms. Democrats must rise to this occasion–or watch as democracy dies before our very eyes because we weren’t willing to do what it takes to win. Please chip in anything you can do to stop DeSantis, Trump, and MAGA from stealing the election before a single vote is cast:
