If you don’t know her story, let me share a bit about her. Long before she was the first Alaska Native elected to Congress, she grew up salmon fishing with her father in the summers and dog mushing in the winters.

She watched as her home went from a place of abundance to scarcity. Giant corporations and billionaires profit off her home at the expense of working Alaskans.
