Zohran Mamdani didn’t win by accident or alone – as a longtime member of the Democratic Socialists of America, his campaign had a grassroots organization supporting his landslide victory from day one. Here in Metro DC DSA we are building the same people-powered electoral machine to take on billionaires and the political establishment, so we can elect working-class socialist candidates across the region.
We are holding two upcoming Electoral Intensives on Saturday January 31st (1:30 - 4:30) & Sunday February 1st (2:30 - 5:30) for people who want to be trained on how to run an effective campaign.
The Saturday session is for experienced individuals who have led or launched a canvass in past cycles. This day will be devoted to building leadership skills and strategic planning. The
Sunday session is open to everyone. This day will be focused on teaching the core tactics and best practices that has made DSA an electoral juggernaut. We will also be joined by a DSA member who helped lead Zohran's NYC campaign. This session is a great way to get plugged into current campaigns, answer any questions you may have about DSA's strategy, and meet the architects of our electoral infrastructure.
