Shortly before skipping town for the rest of the year for an extended holiday vacay, the Senate voted on a bill that would provide a clean extension of ACA subsidies that would have saved millions of Americans from devastating premium increases that took effect on January 1. 

Only four Republican Senators voted with every Democrat to extend the subsidies. The bill failed, and premiums spiked.

This is what happens when people like unelected Sen. Ashley Moody are in control. The ACA subsidy fight is a perfect example why Ron DeSantis and Trump selected her: she will never, even if it means causing her constituents extreme harm and hardship, vote against Trump’s wishes.
