In the 2025 elections, Virginia voters elected Abigail Spanberger as their first woman governor, an avid supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment. And flipped 13 seats in the state House of Delegates to secure a 64-36 Democratic majority. Pennsylvania voters retained 3 of the state Supreme Court Justices – all strongly in support of reproductive rights and the state’s ERA.

Your Feminist Majority organized on 30 key college campuses across Virginia and Pennsylvania to mobilize student voters – especially young women voters. Our student organizers worked in dorms, in student unions, at campus quads and campus polling locations, handing out informational flyers, speaking at club meetings and in dorms, holding late-night strategy meetings, and driving voters to the polls.

This was movement building. This was democracy, in action. Turnout among young people hit record levels and an extraordinary 82% of young women voted for Spanberger.

We must build on this campus organizing model in 2026 – it’s the model that can help flip the U.S House in the mid-terms. Control of Congress will be decided in some of the states and districts we just organized – and in many others like them.

That’s why this winning work is already underway again – and why your early support is critical. 

 Right now, Feminist Majority organizers are identifying scores of priority campuses in swing House districts across the country and recruiting student leaders and activists. Field plans for mobilizing massive Get Out the Vote campus campaigns are being built.

This is the Campus Mobilization model that helped win massive election victories this past fall —and it’s the same model that can help flip the majority in Congress in 2026.
