Oh my gosh, John! My bill to extend the ACA tax credits passed the House last night with a strong bipartisan vote. I’m SO PUMPED!!!

Health care is a human right, and I am so grateful for the determination of House Democrats to fight for our working-class families and their affordable care.

Yesterday was the best day I’ve had in Congress in a while. But here’s the problem. This should not have been a last-minute scramble. Republicans could have supported this months ago. Instead, they stalled, let the deadline approach, and then left Washington in December while families were left in limbo.

Now the Senate has to act. If they don’t, all this progress could still fall apart.
