One of the defining moments of 2025 was Iowa’s special elections. In all six of them, Iowa Democrats overperformed by an average of 22 points.

We elected the first Latina and Black women to the Iowa House and Senate, we broke the GOP Senate supermajority, and we overperformed tremendously in districts where Trump heavily won in 2024.

These victories didn’t come out of nowhere. They happened because Iowa Democrats communicated, organized, and mobilized to the polls.

All of our special election successes from the past year proved that we have what it takes to win our open Governor and Senate races, and all four of our competitive House races. But we can’t do it without your support.
