It’s hard to believe, but the 2020 elections are nearly 100 days away!
I hope you’ll join HRC President Alphonso David, myself, and other staff members for an exclusive virtual town hall on Monday, July 27. We’ll discuss HRC’s plans to get out the vote in the next 100 days and seize victory for LGBTQ people come Election Day.
You’ll hear how we plan to use our Equality Voter Model, built on decades of voter and polling data, to turn out Equality Voters by motivating them on pro-equality issues and legislation. This year, we are focusing intensely on 3 million Equality Voters — LGBTQ people and allies — who live in swing states and who are at risk of NOT voting.
You know, we all have to unite and turn out! Winning in the 2020 elections is our opportunity to advance equality for the LGBTQ community, for people of color, for women, for immigrants and for all communities being marginalized by injustice every day in the District of Columbia and nationwide.
