From the moment I took office, I’ve been committed to rebuilding the American Dream in New Jersey. That includes making our state safer for all.

I’m proud to report that throughout my eight years in office, that’s exactly what we’ve done.

Yesterday, I joined the Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and others in East Rutherford to highlight the steps we’ve taken to reduce crime and keep people safe.

Shootings have declined by 59% statewide under our leadership — and in 2025, New Jersey recorded the fewest number of shootings on record and reached an all-time low in gun homicides.

Working together with communities across the state and law enforcement, we’ve significantly reduced crime and saved lives.
