Last year, a bipartisan War Powers resolution was introduced that would have required congressional authorization for U.S. military action in Venezuela. That resolution failed by just two votes. Boebert was one of those “No” votes. The constitution is clear. Only Congress can authorize war. As Trump threatens a regional war to boost corporate profits, its essential Congress reclaims their constitutional responsibility and prevents him from dragging our country into even more endless foreign wars.
