Hi there, John — it’s Bob Harvie, the Democrat running for Congress here in PA-01.
Today is the five-year anniversary of the January 6th insurrection where seven Americans lost their lives. Today is a reminder of how fragile democracy can be when lies are allowed to fester and when those in power put themselves above our country and the Constitution.
As Chair of the Bucks County Board of Elections, I know firsthand that democracy runs on the hard work of county workers and poll workers who check in voters, secure ballots, and count every vote with care and integrity.
On this anniversary, we must protect those who safeguard our elections, reject political violence in all forms, and stand up together for a democracy that is stronger than any one person, party, or moment.
I’m running for Congress, because when the chips are down, my opponent Brian Fitzpatrick has continually shown that he won’t stand up to Donald Trump no matter the cost to our district, our Commonwealth, or our country.
Last year, as one of his first acts as President, Donald Trump pardoned all of those who took part in the January 6th riots including people attacking police officers and threatening the lives of elected officials. Where was Brian Fitzpatrick? Silent and nowhere to be found. Our district deserves better.
Will you help send me to Congress to fight for the things that really matter? Chip in $25, $10, or even $5 today and let’s flip PA-01 from red to blue!
