Let’s be clear about this: the Kansas GOP isn’t trying to gerrymander me out of office because they actually believe an extreme Republican will get more done in my place.

They’re doing it because they want more gridlock. More chaos. More blind partisanship.

I’ve gotten a lot done for Kansas over the last seven years. And that’s why the Kansas GOP, National Republicans, and countless extremist groups are so determined to replace me.

Now, they’ve set their plans into motion: on January 12th — the very first day of the 2026 legislative session — Kansas Republicans will try to re-draw our maps and wipe out every last Kansas Democrat in Washington.

A Republican candidate for Governor has even gone up on the airwaves, running ads urging state legislators to gerrymander KS-03 — all to protect one party’s political power.

Listen, I know Kansans won’t blindly follow this DC-backed scheme. But taking on National Republicans — and the immense amount of resources they have — won’t be easy. That’s why I need to ask: will you chip in before our deadline on January 12th? If we don’t act fast, we won’t be able to counter all the attacks and misinformation that Kansas Republicans are desperate to spread.
