“President Trump showed great leadership in making the difficult decision to cancel the Republican National Convention celebration in Jacksonville. While delegates will be disappointed to miss out on this much-anticipated experience, President Trump put protecting the health and safety of Americans first, as he has done since this virus first struck our shores.
“The truth is that President Trump doesn’t need a celebration to excite and energize our Party--we are already fired up and energized as ever to re-elect our President and ensure that America and our freedoms are protected under his leadership.”
