January 3, 2026—In the wee hours of January 3, 2026, my
government, the Government of the United States of America, launched
an invasion of a sovereign nation to forcibly kidnap its leader. The
President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife were captured by
American soldiers in an early morning raid and placed on board a ship
that is ostensibly headed to the Southern District of New York, where,
according to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, the couple has “been
charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation
Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns [sic] and Destructive Devices,
and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns [sic] and Destructive Devices
against the United States.”
Let me state unequivocally that everything about this
action stands in violation of international law, the U.N. Charter,
and, crucially for the American people, in violation of our own U.S.
Constitution. It also violates the principles expressed in the
American Declaration of Independence, which itemizes a “long train of
abuses” perpetrated against the New England colonies by the British
Empire—abuses that we ourselves have now just committed with this
illegal action against the people and the nation of
Venezuela.
Unless our nation dramatically changes course and returns
to the principles expressed by John Quincy Adams in his July 4, 1821,
Address to the Congress, we and our republic shall cease to exist in
recognizable form well before the July 4, 2026, 250th anniversary of
our Declaration of Independence. The United States is a powerful
nation. If that power is deployed under the lawless doctrine expressed
in the recently released National Security Strategy, our nation will
not merely harm itself, but like the suicidal killer on the rooftop,
our nation can become a threat to billions of innocent people across
the planet as a whole.
Why I Am Qualified
Before stating what I believe is behind this mad
“Security Strategy” and what we must do about it, I will address the
question many of you are probably asking: “What makes you any more
qualified to lead this nation than the terrible presidents and
candidates we have had in the last decades, and why should anyone
trust you?”
My
qualification to hold the highest office in the land doesn't come from
a worthless piece of paper from an “Ivory Tower” institution, but from
my own morality and courage, as evidenced by my decades-long
association with America’s greatest statesman and presidential figure,
Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr.
It
was LaRouche’s profound understanding of the significance of the
defeat of the British Empire by the United States of America, and his
brilliant success as an economic forecaster, based on his
understanding of the principles of American System economics, that
compelled me to support his policies, and to study the seminal
writings of our founding fathers, especially including the policy
statements of our first Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton that
dealt with topics of public credit, national banking, and
manufactures.
When LaRouche was railroaded into prison as a result of a
decades-long political witch hunt coordinated by Wall Street and the
City of London, who colluded with rogue elements of American
intelligence agencies, the news media, and subversive organizations
like the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, I refused to be cowed
into submission. I chose to dedicate my life to defeating the last
vestiges of the colonial empire and restoring my nation, the United
States, to its intended role as a defender of the sovereign rights of
people and nations across the globe, not through military force, but
through economic partnership and mutually beneficial economic
development.
I
will never sell you out.
The Problem We Face
The unmentionable crisis behind the military agenda of
the West is that the transatlantic financial and monetary system is
hopelessly doomed. It is not merely that the United States government
is approximately $40 trillion in debt and the American people are
carrying unsustainable loads of personal debt, but that London and
Wall Street are the owners of a multi-quadrillion-dollar bubble of
derivatives obligations that cannot be sustained. In just the last
weeks of 2025, the Federal Reserve pumped over $74 billion into the
financial system. NATO countries are selling weapons to Ukraine and
Israel that will not even be produced until five or more years from
now, necessitating the continuation of genocidal conflicts from the
standpoint of the stakeholders and the speculators.
On
top of this, the current occupant of the White House, President Donald
Trump, has been ill-served by ambitious, lying cabinet members like
Secretary of State “Narco” Rubio and Soros-man Treasury Secretary
Scott Bessent, among others, and appears to be unwilling or unable to
uphold his stated commitment to end forever wars.
While President Trump is failing, his politicized
“Russia-Russia-Russia” Democratic and Republican Party neocon and
neoliberal opponents may seize upon the illegal Venezuela actions to
initiate impeachment proceedings, which in a sane Congress might bring
relief, but in the hands of the current Congress would more likely
serve to plunge us into devastating war with Russia or China or
both.
Therefore, I appeal to you, the American people, to join
my campaign in forging a pathway out of this potential
disaster.
We Have Nothing To Fear But Fear
Itself
On
the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence, we must
demand that every officeholder uphold the principles enshrined in our
Declaration of Independence and Constitution: namely that all human
beings are created equal—and all means all, not just those born within
our borders or born into a particular faith or language culture, that
ALL human beings are endowed with “unalienable rights,” and that
governments are instituted to “secure these rights,” including our own
government.
Securing the rights of “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of
Happiness” does not occur in the abstract but must exist in the
physical domain as well. Children living under constant bombing,
threats of violence, starvation, disease, and political oppression are
being deprived of their God-given rights. Freedom is not freedom if it
is imposed by force. John Quincy Adams said that the founding of the
United States of America, based upon the principles expressed in our
Declaration of Independence, “demolished at a stroke the lawfulness of
all governments founded upon conquest.” Let that sink in. Governments
based on conquest (force) are unlawful.
Then-Secretary of State John Quincy Adams stated, in that
same July 4 address, that if America were to engage in foreign
conquests, “She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be
no longer the ruler of her own spirit.”
Let us take back our spirit, not by going “abroad, in
search of monsters to destroy,” but by destroying the monsters within,
starting with the bankrupt financial system.
If
we want to secure the “blessings of liberty” for ourselves and
everyone else, we must declare that the transatlantic system is
bankrupt! No more bailouts with blood and treasure. Put the whole mess
through an orderly bankruptcy reorganization, including the
unconstitutional Federal Reserve, and create a Third National Bank of
the United States.
No
more floating exchange rates! Peg the dollar to gold or a market
basket of real commodities in collaboration with the most powerful
nations on the planet, namely Russia, China, and India. Enact a global
“Glass–Steagall” bank separation, with an impenetrable wall between
speculation and commercial savings and loan activities.
The United States, under these conditions, will be able
to write off large amounts of debt and instead issue credit to build
national infrastructure projects in transportation, water management,
and energy (especially nuclear fusion), which will dramatically
increase the productive power of the American workforce and raise the
standard of living for the American people.
Rather than declaring prosperous nations to be our
competitors or even our adversaries, let us work with them for the
benefit of mankind as a whole, which includes the American people, who
are burdened rather than benefited by our futile attempts to prevent
the progress of other nations.
It
is to this end that I declare my independent candidacy for President
of the United States, not to provide leadership in some distant era in
January of ’29, but to give the American people a voice and a pathway
to secure the policies that are urgently needed now.
I
invite you to join me.
