It's
Peggy Flanagan. I wanted to give you an update on things here in
Minnesota. Governor Tim Walz has announced he’s not running for another
term as governor.
Since his time as a teacher, he has led with decency and compassion.
Today's decision reflects who he has always been – someone who puts
Minnesotans first.
I am proud to call him a friend and proud of all the work that has been
done to make Minnesota the best place to raise a family.
I am focused on my race for U.S. Senate to ensure people can afford the
lives they want to live.
We need leaders with the heart and compassion for people, and
determination to take on Donald Trump and his billionaire besties. That
has been the focus of my entire career, from my time at the Children’s
Defense Fund to my time as Lieutenant Governor. It is still my focus
today.
I want to thank you for all your support. I’m so excited to see what we
can build together.
