I want to thank you for your continued support. With your help, I’m proud to share that we met our end-of-year fundraising goal -- and are entering the midterm election year with strength.

It couldn’t come at a more important time. Congress is back in session this week, and what happens next will impact thousands of working families in CA-27 and beyond:

- After the surprise military action in Venezuela, Trump claimed that he will be “running” the country -- despite his campaign promises to end the forever wars. As a member of the Armed Services Committee, I’m demanding answers and that Congress receive a detailed plan of action.

- The Republican majority allowed the ACA tax credits to expire at the end of the year. Costs have already risen dramatically for millions of families nationwide because of the GOP’s refusal to act. We expect a vote on extension this week.

I’m fighting hard for our communities in Washington, because it’s up to us to build a stronger future for working families. Now that we’re in the election year, it’s critical that this seat stays blue -- because Democrats can’t flip the majority without it.

There’s a lot more to come, but right now, I want to extend my gratitude for your support that makes what I do in Washington and at home possible.
