Tony Hwang has spent more than 35 years deeply connected to Fairfield—engaged in civic life, raising a family, and serving the community long before this campaign began. His public service record spans more than two decades at the local and state level, built on collaboration, accountability, and delivering results, even while serving in the minority party.

This election is about restoring balance and trust in local government. One-party rule has left too many residents feeling unheard and unrepresented. Tony has seen firsthand how unchecked power weakens transparency and accountability. Fairfield deserves leadership that listens, asks hard questions, and governs for all residents—not just a political majority.

Tony’s priorities are practical and focused:

• Improving town services while respecting every taxpayer dollar

While this father-and-son team does not live in Fairfield, we have spent significant time here with friends and neighbors and are deeply invested in preserving the local control and quality of life of all Connecticut residents, especially in the wake of HB 8002, which threatens to impose one-size-fits-all policies on towns that know their communities best.

We have knocked on doors throughout Fairfield and spoken with residents from all walks of life—families, seniors, renters, homeowners, and small business owners. What we consistently hear is a desire for leadership that listens, respects local control, and focuses on practical solutions.
