During our Medicare town hall, Bernie Sanders put it plainly:
We need a non-MAGA doctor in the Senate.

endorsed El-Sayed is because he’s a physician, which Senate Democrats
lack.
That’s why he endorsed Abdul, who could become the first non-MAGA doctor
in the entire U.S. Senate, and the only public health official to ever
serve there.
Abdul is a public health expert. He literally wrote the book on Medicare
for All. And he refuses corporate PAC and AIPAC money, because healthcare
decisions should be made by doctors, not donors.
If we want this kind of leadership in the Senate, we have to build it —
