On Wednesday night, we closed out 2025 — and with it, our final FEC fundraising deadline of the year. So today I am writing to simply thank you.

The support I received was humbling. I am so grateful to have had this incredible coalition with me, both last quarter and throughout the year.

Today also marks one year since I was sworn in to represent Virginia’s 7th district. Looking back, so much comes to mind: the Trump administration attacking working families, launching a tariff war, undermining our freedoms, and even targeting me with investigations in retaliation for blowing the whistle on him.

But what I remember most is you — this grassroots team — standing with me every single step of the way. Your support is how I made it to Congress, how I fought back boldly against authoritarianism in my first year in office, and how we ended the year sending a clear message to Trump and his MAGA allies: we’re not backing down.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

The last year was tough, there’s no denying that. Trump and his cronies are weaponizing every tool of government to attack me and our movement. But I also learned that every time they try to silence us, you prove we’re still here, stronger than ever.

And as we enter this critical election year, when Trump will hand-pick a MAGA opponent to get me out of Congress once and for all and maintain his unchecked power, I am grateful to know that I can count on your unwavering support.

Whether you contributed, signed your name, or simply read an email like this one, you’re part of a movement that refuses to give up.

Our fight continues. Trump isn’t slowing down, and neither can we. Not this year when so much is at stake. But I promise you this: I will keep fighting for our democracy every single day — and I know I can count on you to keep standing with me.
