Happy New Year!
What a joy it is to step into 2026 together, carried by the same grace that sustained us through 2025. As we look ahead, we are reminded that our lives are not in our own hands but in the Lord’s.
James 4:13–15 speaks directly to us:
“Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’ Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, ‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.’”
This passage reminds us of the fragility of life and the futility of boasting in our own plans. Calendars, strategies, and ambitions have their place, but they are always subject to the sovereign will of God. He alone holds tomorrow.
Yet this truth is not meant to discourage us—it is meant to anchor us. Because our lives are in His hands, we can live each day with confidence, not in our strength or resources, but in His faithfulness. Whether the Lord grants us another decade or simply another day, our calling remains the same: to trust Him, to cling to the gospel, and to make Christ known.
As a mission family, we are blessed to be part of His work in the world. Many in Africa and beyond still do not know the hope of Jesus Christ. This year, we have fresh opportunities to proclaim the gospel, to strengthen the church, and to see lives transformed by His grace.
We cannot do this alone. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial partnership have carried this mission forward year after year. For that, we give heartfelt thanks.
Together, we step into 2026 with faith, believing that God will use our collective obedience to bring glory to His name.
Here’s to 2026, another year to live for Jesus, to proclaim his gospel, to pray, and to see his world respond to him in faith.
