Year End Giving is one of the most important campaigns of the year for our movement — and I wanted to share a quick update with you before midnight.

As of now, we’re just a few hundred gifts away from reaching our $500,000 Year End goal.

That goal matters because it powers everything we do to defend democracy — from training Election Protection volunteers, to stopping dark-money corruption, to challenging attacks on voting rights in the courts.

And with a critical midterm election year approaching, we can’t afford to slow down.

For fifty-five years, Common Cause members have proven that people — not powerful interests — can shape the course of history. And tonight, we have the chance to show that again.

Do you remember how you felt earlier this year? When Elon Musk’s DOGE was firing people en masse, Trump was rapidly consolidating power, and both parties in Congress were too terrified to lift a finger to stop him.  

And more importantly, do you remember how you felt when Common Cause fought back? When we fired Elon Musk, when we set the standard for mid-decade redistricting, and when we help rescind Article V calls in four states (the most since 2017). [1]  

If you do and if you want to keep that work going, now is the time to give. We have just three hours until our midnight deadline and how much we raise will determine exactly how big we can go in the new year.
