Let’s be the change.

It only takes one day for everything to change. 

It happens when a natural disaster strikes, wiping out crops that stood tall the day before. It can happen in the context of war, when a family is at home one day and displaced the next, their house reduced to rubble.

Bad things can happen so fast that it feels impossible to keep up.  But it only takes one day for things to change for the better.

At AFSC, we see positive change every day, when people—just like you—come together to help build a better future.

In one day, a community in Gaza receives precious supplies from our team, and war-weary children attend their first class after two years of genocide.

In one day, an immigrant is released from ICE detention with help from an AFSC attorney and is joyfully reunited with loved ones. 

In one day, a community forms a street patrol to protect their neighbors from ICE abductions, and families breathe a sigh of relief, knowing they will be safer traveling to work, school, or church.

Good things can happen in just one day, too. And today could be one of those days, because you have the power to create meaningful and lasting change.
