John, with just hours to go until midnight’s critical fundraising deadline, we’re asking very humbly if you’d be able to pitch in any amount for Scott Colom’s campaign.

At the beginning of the new year, we’ll need to announce how much we’ve raised — and how many donors have chipped in — for the past three months, including today.

That report will set the tone for the rest of this campaign. And those numbers will help determine how much we are able to invest in flipping this Senate seat.

Look: Republicans are afraid of Scott’s momentum. They know he can defeat Cindy Hyde-Smith. That’s why GOP Super PACs are already spending big money to run ads against Scott.

But if we all have his back, we can communicate with enough voters to counter the false attacks.

It’s all going to come down to whether we have enough resources to win. And that’s why we need to respectfully ask: Will you rush a contribution of $7, $25, or even $50 directly to Scott’s campaign before midnight?
