I wanted to share an update — and a reminder of what we’re up against.
As of today, we’re over halfway to our goal of 1,000 individual donors before the end of the year.
That’s incredible. It tells me what I’ve always believed: this campaign belongs to the people of DC.
But here’s why the next stretch matters so much.
While we’re building this movement one donor at a time, one of my opponents comes from serious family wealth — the kind that opens doors, funds campaigns overnight, and expects politics to work a certain way. That’s not a coincidence. It’s a worldview.
I’m running to bring something very different to Congress: a voice shaped by public service, community accountability, and a deep belief that DC residents deserve full dignity and representation.
The polls show we’re leading — but undecided voters are watching closely. They want to know: Is this campaign real? Is it broad? Is it powered by people like me?
Every single donation from people like you helps answer that question. If you’ve already supported my campaign, thank you. Truly.
P.S. If you haven’t already, watch my campaign launch ad by clicking here or on the image below, and consider pitching in $29 or more to help make sure every voter across DC gets a chance to see it, too.
