It’s Day 345 of President Trump’s second term. No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies.

I am increasingly optimistic that American Values can meet its year-end fundraising goal.
But we can’t take anything for granted!

They Learned Nothing
Some political analysts thought that Democrats learned their lesson after the November 2024 elections. They did everything they could to smear and destroy Donald Trump, yet the American people rejected the Left’s extremism and returned Trump to the White House.
From open borders to horrible economic policies that created skyrocketing inflation, there were many reasons why Kamala Harris failed to connect with voters. Another big reason was best summed up by the brilliant Trump ad that ended, “Kamala’s for they/them. President Trump is for you.”
Reasonable people believed, or at least hoped, that Democrats would finally understand that they shouldn’t be falling on their sword for all things LGBTQ. And especially not the insane transgender agenda that the public has turned decidedly against.
Well, Democrats haven’t learned anything at all.
As an example, the Democrats’ favorite newspaper, the Washington Post, just ran a profile story that started on the front page, filled two more inside pages, and half of another page. Were they covering an American war hero? No. A civil rights icon? No.
The subject was a boy in Washington State who has “stolen” girls’ track awards because he claims he is a girl. The whole puff piece is about a “noble” boy stealing honors from girls. And this is coming from a “newspaper” that prides itself on being progressive!
The Post story would have been more fitting if it ran as the lead obituary—of the feminist movement! When boys are applauded for invading girls’ bathrooms and cheered for denying them athletic accomplishments and scholarships, the feminist movement is officially D-E-A-D.
Next month, the Supreme Court will hear cases challenging laws from Idaho and West Virginia that prohibit boys from playing in girls’ sports. Of course, we’re hoping and praying for a positive outcome.
But 130 congressional Democrats put their names on a legal brief begging the justices to strike down these commonsense laws that respect the privacy and safety of young girls, as well as biological science.
Once again, we see how the intolerant Left has no interest in allowing states to reflect their own values. They want to force every state to accept the values of San Francisco.
Graham’s Prayer
I want to tip my hat to Reverend Franklin Graham, son of legendary evangelist Billy Graham and president of Samaritan’s Purse. Graham is slow to anger. But he was really angry yesterday after learning that more than 100 Democrats are asking the Supreme Court to allow boys into girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms. Graham wrote on social media:
“If you believe men should be allowed in women’s bathrooms and to undress in your daughter’s or granddaughter’s locker room, then you should vote Democrat.
Over one hundred and thirty Democrats in the House and Senate [are] urging the Supreme Court to support biological males in women’s sports. This is sick. If it turns your stomach, beware. . .”
“I’m not a Republican or a Democrat—no party has my loyalty. I’m going to vote for the platform that best supports American and Biblical values. Men in women’s sports and restrooms is perverted.
“Pray that God will guide the hearts of the Supreme Court justices to do the right thing as they deliberate this issue in just a couple of weeks.”
Amen to that, Reverend Graham! We join you in that prayer!
Left-wing Lunacy
Here’s another example of the sickness in the Democrat Party.
A few days ago, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was asked to comment on a report that found a majority of Border Patrol agents are Hispanic. The frequently catatonic Bass actually showed some real emotion in her response.
She gave long-winded answers, so I’ll paraphrase her remarks. Bass said she thought it was horrible that Hispanic Americans would want to help protect our borders and keep illegal aliens out of the country.
That’s about as racist as you can get! Apparently, Bass thinks that if you’re Hispanic, you must be “for” illegal Hispanics entering your country.
Imagine someone asking her why Blacks would want to work for the Los Angeles Police Department. Does she think it’s horrible for Black Americans to want to keep their streets and communities safe? Or does she think that if you’re Black, you must be “for” Black criminals?
Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin eagerly set Mayor Bass straight, saying:
“The patriotic men and women joined Border Patrol because they want to defend our homeland, help secure our borders, and catch drug traffickers, gang members, pedophiles, rapists, and murderers trying to illegally enter our country.
“Mayor Bass should stop race-baiting for media clicks and start thanking our law enforcement officers for making California communities safe again—something she refuses to do.”
