We are 48 hours from the end of the year, and I’m coming to you once again with a direct plea.
This work takes sustained resources: staff capacity, legal, rapid-response advocacy, and the organizing structure it takes to win in states and protect progress from being rolled back.
At the same time, the need is unmistakable. This month, Brown University lost two students and nine more were critically injured in a shooting during finals week. We should not accept this as the price of education, community, or public life.
