Hi friends, Jess here from Team Sara. I work on Sara’s digital team (helping get these emails out to you!). 

I’ve corresponded with many of you who reply to Sara’s emails, and I know firsthand what a thoughtful, positive, and passionate community Sara has built over the past several years.

I love working with her on these emails because we agree that they should be honest and informative — and of course, that the people who read them are real human beings, with your own thoughts, feelings, and wisdom to share.

It’s in that spirit that I want to give you a quick, honest update: 

→ Yesterday, Sara sent a long email explaining why tomorrow’s FEC filing deadline is such a big deal, and flagging our goal of raising another $15,000 online before we close the books on 2025.

→ SO many of you stepped up to give! I watched every single donation come in on ActBlue, and I know Sara is incredibly grateful to have such a generous community partnering with her. 

→ But of course, $15,000 is a significant amount of money, so we still have a bit left to raise to reach the goal. I wanted to share my internal tracking spreadsheet to show you where we are. 

(And yes — this is a real spreadsheet, not a fake graphic I whipped up in Canva for this email!)

This isn’t just a random goal — meeting it before tomorrow’s FEC deadline will be a meaningful boost to what Sara is able to accomplish next year, both when it comes to her own re-election, and her work helping fellow Democrats win!

That’s one of the most amazing things about working with Sara — she’s 100% committed to representing her constituents with strong leadership in the House, and she’s also an incredible support system to so many Democrats around the country, especially other Millennials and women running for office.

She and her political team are mapping out all their plans for how they’ll help flip the House next year, and I know there’s so much they want to do, but it will only be possible if we get where we need to go with fundraising.

I can promise you that everyone on Team Sara will be very grateful for anything you can chip in. We know that when we ask for money, it comes with a real responsibility to use it wisely — to get things done and elect more Democrats — and we’re ready to do just that in 2026!
