I know that asking you to chip in just one dollar seems strange. With the enormous influence of corporate PACs and billionaires in our politics, how can that truly make a difference in a competitive race like mine?
Here’s how: If even 25% of everyone reading this email chipped in one dollar, we’d soar past our end-of-year goal and prove to the national GOP that CA-27 isn’t up for grabs.
Your donation would immediately be put to work expanding our voter outreach efforts -- an especially important part of our re-election campaign now that Prop 50 has added tens of thousands of voters into the district that have never seen my name on the ballot.
We’ve defied the odds together before. I was one of a small handful of Democrats who flipped GOP-held seats back in 2024.
