Almost ten years ago, Bernie Sanders and I launched Our Revolution. Coming out of Bernie’s 2016 presidential campaign, we shared a bold vision: mobilize the grassroots in massive numbers, elect working-class champions up and down the ballot, and build a Democratic Party that puts people before profits.

Since then, dark money and billionaire power have exploded as secretive donors pour hundreds of millions into our elections. A handful of ultra-wealthy oligarchs can buy nonstop ads, shape the news, and pressure politicians behind closed doors – all while Trump chips away at our democracy.

As we look to 2026, the battle lines are clearer than ever – and we have a real opportunity to stop Trump by electing inspiring progressive candidates and taking control of Congress. We founded Our Revolution to take this challenge head on, and now, if we’re going to keep building real power – block by block, ballot by ballot – we need to know you’re with us.

Since our founding, together we’ve delivered some unbelievable victories:

• We’ve elected over 1,000 progressive champions who share our movement’s values – from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Zhoran Mamdani in New York to Ilhan Omar in Minnesota.
• Our pressure helped move the Democratic National Committee to strip superdelegates’ power from the first round of the presidential nomination, giving grassroots voters – not party insiders – the final say.
• Thanks to our organizing, the DNC just pledged to keep corporate and dark money out of the 2028 presidential primary – a direct blow to the billionaires and oligarchs desperate to seize even more power.

We’re nowhere near done yet. We’re still pushing to get dark and corporate money out of all Democratic primaries because we know that until we do, oligarchs will keep buying our elections and putting in the most pro-corporate, pro-billionaire candidates they can.

As we speak, Trump’s oligarchs and MAGA billionaires are busy using dark money to make themselves richer with corporate tax breaks and mega-government contracts – while slashing the services working families need to survive. And at the same time, grassroots organizations like ours are under assault as the far-right puts a target on our back.

The truth is that right now, our work is needed more than ever to seize the opportunities we have in 2026 to take back power from Trump. Which is why I’m coming to you today to ask you to fuel the next generation of people-powered victories so that we’re not just playing defense – we’re driving the agenda for real progressive change at every level of government.

Ten years ago, we started a movement that transformed politics. Today, the stakes could not be higher: if we let oligarchs continue on the path they are on, working families, democracy, and our planet will pay the price. But together, with your help, we will keep organizing – and keep winning.
