🎆 SPECIAL EDITION: 2025 Wrapped 🎆

This year, as Donald Trump and his MAGA allies attacked our freedoms and ripped away the help that families rely on, Vote Mama and our supporters like you didn’t wait until 2026 to take action.

Vote Mama proudly supported 64 pro-choice Democratic moms who were on the ballot in 2025. These bold mamas understand the real struggles that everyday families face, and they stepped up to the plate in some of the country’s most competitive races to help send a clear message that Donald Trump doesn’t represent us.

We are so proud of the campaigns our moms built and the grassroots supporters like you who stuck by us. Thank you for your hard work this cycle — we can’t do this work without you.

Here is the Vote Mama 2025 Wrapped: a recap of what we were able to accomplish this year thanks to your support!

ELECTION RESULTS

Vote Mama made over $50,000 in direct contributions to candidates with elections this year, and our investments paid off: almost every single dollar — more than 98% — went to mamas who won their elections. We ended the cycle with our highest win rate yet at 90% overall.

Here are some highlights of our mamas’ amazing victories this year:

  • Virginia — Our moms achieved a 96% win rate, delivering 9 of the 13 red-to-blue wins in the House of Delegates that resulted in a Democratic trifecta—and the largest legislative majority in decades.
  • Governors — With historic November victories by Abigail Spanberger in Virginia and Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey, the number of Democratic moms serving as governor TRIPLED this year. Both mamas won with double-digit margins.
  • School Boards — Far-right groups like Moms for Liberty have been on a mission to take over schools in places like Pennsylvania, where we endorsed EIGHT powerhouse moms to fight back against harmful book bans and anti-LGBTQ+ attacks. SEVEN of our eight Pennsylvania school board mamas won on Election Night, with some of them becoming the first or only Democrats on their respective school boards.

Our moms are not only majority makers; they are trailblazers. Here’s a snapshot of how our endorsed candidates made history on Election Day 2025:

  • Tina Belge (SC): She will be the youngest woman to hold the at-large seat on the Greenville City Council.
  • Stacey Carroll (VA): She will become the first Democratic woman veteran to serve in the Virginia House of Delegates.
  • Anisa Liban (OH): She will be the first BIPOC and first Somali Muslim to serve on the Westerville City Schools Board of Education.
  • Kait Linton (PA): They will be the first out LGBTQ+ member of the Hempfield School District Board of Directors.
  • May Nivar (VA): She is the first Chinese American elected to the Virginia General Assembly.
