I wanted you to hear this from me directly.

John,

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been thinking a lot about the conversations I’ve had with people all across Maine, at town halls, grocery stores, food pantries, and community meetings.

They almost always come back to the same thing: everything feels harder than it should. Costs are up. Health care is stressful. Families are stretched thin. And too often, Washington feels disconnected from real life.

But here’s the thing I don’t want us to lose sight of: when voters were given a clear choice in 2025, Democrats won — decisively. Across the country, people showed up for candidates who talked honestly about affordability, fairness, and putting working people first.

That momentum matters. And it’s exactly why I’m asking for your help today.

We’re heading into the 2026 election year, and if we’re going to protect health care, lower costs for regular people, retake Congress, and finally hold this administration accountable, we need to start strong.

If you can, will you make a year-end contribution to help us reach our $10,000 grassroots goal before midnight tomorrow?

I’ve never believed politics is about slogans or spin. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and fighting for people who don’t have lobbyists, corporate PACs, or billionaires on their side.

That’s what I’ve tried to do in Washington, pushing back against policies that drive up costs, standing up for SNAP and Medicaid, and calling out the chaos and cruelty we’ve seen far too often this year. And it’s what I plan to keep doing in 2026.

But winning that fight means being prepared: investing early in organizing, outreach, and the infrastructure it takes to hold this seat and help Democrats retake the House.

If you’re in a position to give before the year ends, I hope you will. Your support now helps ensure we enter 2026 with the strength and momentum this moment demands. Please click here to make your secure contribution before our deadline tomorrow night.

Thank you for everything you do.
