On April 19, 1775, the first battles of the American Revolution were fought at Lexington and Concord.

Those early Americans fought in defense of liberty, not only for themselves but also for future generations. Their desire to be free from tyranny would eventually lead them to declare their independence on July 4, 1776.

Next year, we will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of our great nation. And it is right that we do so.

Today, the principles of liberty that guided America’s founders are under threat. And we need your help to continue and expand our efforts to defend them in the coming year.

Hillsdale College is the only educational institution in the country that is in a strong position to reach and teach millions of Americans about our nation’s founding principles and defend our great heritage of liberty.

In marking the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, a renewed commitment is needed to the cause of liberty.

To achieve this, we have set an ambitious goal: to raise $6,000,000 online by December 31 so we can expand the Project to Save America in 2026.
