As the year comes to a close, the Rue Crew is reflecting on what we’ve accomplished together, and looking ahead to the work still needed to move Philadelphia forward. To keep that progress going, we need your support.

We are short of our end-of-year fundraising goal and the deadline is coming up soon. We need your help to raise $5,738 to make sure Rue meets this goal and puts up a big number. 

Over the course of 2025, Councilmember Rue Landau delivered real results for Philadelphians in every community across the city. 

She passed groundbreaking legislation making it easier for renters struggling to afford an apartment up-front, helped to advance important policies to expand access to safe and affordable housing, and led efforts to give more Philadelphians across the city an opportunity to work and thrive through an expanded Fair Chance Hiring law. As Tech Committee Chair she also held the City's first hearing on the impacts of artificial intelligence. 

All this, while expanding opportunities for restaurants to have outdoor dining ahead of 2026 and engaging with small business owners from diverse communities through roundtable discussions who need their voices heard in City Hall.

Throughout the year, Rue worked hand-in-hand with hundreds of advocates, service providers, labor leaders, and neighborhood groups across the city. Whether fighting for renters, standing up for LGBTQ+ and immigrant residents, or pushing for a more transparent and accountable city government, she made sure community voices weren’t just heard, but acted on.

But this work requires sustained support.

As we approach our year-end deadline, we need your help to meet our fundraising goal so Councilmember Landau can continue delivering bold, people-first leadership. With major economic, housing, and public safety challenges ahead, Philadelphia needs leaders like Rue who are prepared, principled, and responsive to the communities they serve.
