We can’t afford anyone on the sidelines

RobertGarcia.com

As we head into the final days of the year, I want to be very clear about what this moment demands of us.

Donald Trump and his allies are testing the limits of power again — daring Congress to look away, daring the courts to blink, and daring the public to accept corruption, secrecy, and abuse as the new normal.

But I didn’t run for Congress to look away. I ran to fight back — to conduct real oversight, demand accountability, and make sure no president is above the law. That work is hard, it’s relentless, and it puts a target on your back. But it’s necessary.

If you believe survivors deserve justice, I need you with me right now. Will you please donate any amount today to help me keep fighting back

Oversight isn’t symbolic. It involves subpoenas, investigations, court fights, and showing up where Donald Trump doesn’t want us. It requires a refusal to ever be intimidated or scared into silence.

So here are the stakes: If we fall short, Trump and his enablers win more silence. If we hit this goal, we send a message that accountability is not optional.

I’m asking you to stand with me before the end of the year and help fuel this fight. The clock is ticking — and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
